This notice explains the cookies and limited browser-storage technologies used by Lovelace's Square.
When you sign in with Google, Lovelace's Square uses authentication cookies managed through Supabase to keep your session active.
In production, these Supabase authentication cookies are configured on the .lovelacesquare.org domain so they can support shared sign-in across participating Lovelace services, including The Square and Ada.
Lovelace's Square also stores a small amount of preference data in your browser, using cookies or similar browser storage where appropriate, so the interface can remember choices you have made.
This is used for interface preferences such as your selected theme and whether you have dismissed the cookie notice. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
We use cookieless analytics tools (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) to understand how the platform is used and to improve the user experience. Based on Vercel's documentation, these tools do not rely on traditional analytics cookies.
We do not use advertising or cross-site marketing cookies on Lovelace's Square. If you choose to sign in with Google or follow external links such as LinkedIn, those third-party services apply their own privacy and cookie practices.
You can manage cookies and local browser storage through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
If you block authentication cookies, you may not be able to sign in or use authenticated parts of the platform. If sign-in becomes stuck, you can also use /auth/reset-session to clear stale authentication cookies.
We may update this notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the date at the top of this page.
If you have questions about our use of cookies or browser storage, please contact us at contact@lovelacesquare.org.
